Diesel's first "hike"

Diesel had his first hiking adventure this past weekend. Don't worry fellow mastiff-ites this was an ultra short easy walk I wouldn't put too much stress on his little growing muscles and joints. Mostly we had a very slow leisurely walk in which he enjoyed smelling every smell there was to smell and I annoyed both my fiance, Sean and Diesel himself with insisting upon loads of pictures. We did get a few good ones out of the bargain.






But, the best one in my humble opinion is the one I took of Sean and Diesel together on the hike.


Diesel was 15 weeks this Sunday and now weighs in at 30 lbs. I'm dying of curiosity regarding how big he will end up. Will he take after his DDB dad and be a big boy or will he take after his dainty pit-bull mix mom? The suspense is killing me!

Diesel is looking very much like a pit mix so if I were guessing, which I am LOL, I say he'll take after his mom too. Great pics!

When we first got him he had a lot more of the mastiff wrinkles. His siblings had the mastiff coloring and looked more like the the dad than Diesel. He definitely looked more pit than his litter mates. I do wish he had kept more of his wrinkles they were so darn cute.

He is incredibly handsome. Looks like he enjoys posing for the camera.

Max'a mom - he actually hates my neurotic picture taking and is usually sure to let me know it. But I must have been a DDB in a past life because I am more stubborn than he is so I always win (well usually)
