I do love them gray's and blues on dogs. Beautiful pup. Ae them blue eyes? It's a damn shame your in the service surrounded by I would assume more than one guy trained to kill. But a little old Pit is not allowed. hahahaha. Thanks for your service to our country as well

Nice looking dog. Steel Trap has been breeding bandogs for quite awhile and seem to love what they do. It's more than just let's throw this in the pot and see what happens like many bandog breeders. And thank you for serving our country! My brother is retiring from the military this June.

A bandog is a glorified mutt the difference between a mutt and a bandog is that the breeds mixed were done on purpose with a specific purpose.... ie the pig dogs of Australia...typically there is a bull and terrier breed for drive wind and willpower and a mastiff with defense drive....the most common state side bandog is gamebred APBT/ working NEO......typically every dog in the line are worked and worked hard from as far back as you can trace....now there are many different combos that do well like my pup who is police dutch shepherd/working american bulldog/ working neopolitan...or aussie pig dogs who are mostly bullmastiff/greyhound/bullterrier mixes.... i emphasize working because thats what they are meant to do because there are some people that say they have bandogs and there just mutts....I know the question is coming so I'll touch on it now... the reason why us bandog guys are into them is the hybrid vigor that comes from mixing dogs of different types together like a terrier into a mastiff it makes up for both of there faults in some way or another and mixes are typically more healthy than there purebred counterparts.. and no question is a dumb question

"bullmastiff/greyhound/bullterrier"

That is an odd choice, what would you be looking to get from the greyhound? The vision?

Sounds like taking breeding to an art form. Very interesting.

They use greyhound for wind and speed out on the Aussie plains land there are little trees so they need a dog that can go flat out quick, fast and for ahwile its definitely an art form the Aussie also sometimes mix collie deerhound pretty much anything that gets the job done if the dog works and works well they breed them regardless of breed that combo is just the most common and also the makings of there Bull Arab
I'll find some pics for you
