Comparing heeling dvds

Can anyone offer comparisons of Balabanov's Obedience without Conflict to Focused Heeling with Michael Ellis? I feel like I need some more detailed input to obtain a BH certificate. Balabanov's are pretty spendy so would like some input. Thanks everyone!

I didn't use either for my heeling, but I've heard great things about Michael Ellis. This may sound funny, but I'd also look at Bridget Carlson. I used her stuff a lot for my heeling with C

I've seen them both but I'm very bias to Ellis. IMO there's not another trainer in the US that is able to convey complex theory and real world application in the manner he is able to present it.

Method wise I'd also side with Ellis as it produces a sound balanced dog that has the will to work for you. I would say the heeling video is some what apples to oranges with the Obedience video as it's more focused on all the many aspects of IPO/Comp style heeling.

Thanks Joshua, i have watched his food reward vid and tug vid so I might as we'll add this one. Wish they had bulk discount! I too really like his approach and the way he explains. I had just finished an ipo fundamentals class and his vids iced the cake.
