Chonky wasn't a mastiff or even my dog, but he was a wonderful pet and I loved him.

Chonky belonged to my sister and her family, when I first met him I fell in love with his goofy mug and playful personality. He was the perfect dog for my nephew to grow up with, very patient and loving, and always down for a camping/fishing/anythingthatinvolvesthecar trip. He was a wonderful teacher to Kujo, wouldn't put up with his silly puppy nonesense, taught him to play nice instead of rough. He welcomed 2 pit bull dogs into his home when their human passed on, he accepted them like brothers and even shared his toys. Chonky was a lot of things, but mostly he was just loved.

The cirumpstances of Chonky's early passing are quite upsetting, I wont go into the details as I'm not sure of all the details myself. The how is less important than the what, and the what is he is gone and we are all going to miss our Chonky :(

Thanks for reading.

Chonky is happy on the other side of the bridge, I'm sure, and is looking over and being proud of his work with the other four legged buddies here :)

Loads of love and hugs from Boone and I, Kujo!
