Chicken Bone in poop - Help please

Hi

My 13 week DDB Zena has been enjoying raw chicken wings for her lunch every day for a week. She loves them - 2 chews and a swallow and they are gone!!
I think she has eaten some chicken droppings as she has developed the most horrendous runny poop. It has intact chicken bones in it.. Is this normal...
Common sense tells me that her bowel is irritated and is emptying sooner than normal so the bones haven't had time to digest????
I have starved her for 24hrs and she is perky but arching her back just a little, and one eye is mildly bloodshot.

I have this silly thing in my head telling me it is a stuck chicken bone ripping her apart inside... Please tell me that my common sense is on the ball.. Love her so much she is making me doubt myself.. thank you x

Is she eating a raw diet? Or is she on kibble with a raw lunch?

If she's eating and drinking normally, theres no blood in the poop, and its regular if way to soft, its not likely she's got a bone stuck. If there contunues to be a concern however your vet can check with an xray, but prepare to be yelled at for feeding raw bones.

Thanks Ruthcatrin - Its kibble with a raw lunch - I do want to feed raw but is a slow progress in the UK - And yes i 'know my vet will yell at me! I will take ear defenders!! - it was the undigested bones that shocked me !

It's not unusual to see large bone fragments in poop when first transitioning to raw. It takes a while for stomach acid to get to full strength. You may try holding the bone to make your baby chew a little more.

Thanks

Her tummy has sorted itself out.. But her eye is still red. It does not appear swollen or raised jus red and bloodshot - Just one eye.. I have seen posts on here for cherry eye which looks horrid, it doesn't seem as bad as that. Could it just be a general irritation? No discharge or anything. She looks scary!!!!
