We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

I raw feed. The menu today was pork chops, brisket & green tripe (yuck). Max's favorite is duck. That get's expensive. It's expensive but I want the best nutrition. I have a couple of Butcher's that hook me up. When hunting season starts I will have lots cheap. Some people don't believe in raw feeding. I DO! I can't figure Logans ears out. I am a big MMA fan and they remind me of a fighters ears that has been fighting for years. Are they cropped or is that natural? Honey is her name. She was in such bad shape I just couldn't leave without her. Took her to the Vet. yesterday and he just looked at me and said "really Deny". Yep, so get with it and fix her up. Max LOVES her. She is tolerating him.

Honey, what a pretty name! I give Logan raw twice a week. I will have him fully converted at a year old.. His ears are cropped. The nomads cut off their ears so predators could not tear them. Tails are docked too. It gives them a unique look. And we do get some looks from people. Especially when they see he still squats to pee, they say is that a puppy? What is it??
Lol! Max is a looker too! I bet he gets lots of attention!

I feed raw too. Just ordered a whole cow for Bella... it's about 500lbs of ground beef. I'm hoping that will do most of the winter for her o_O
Wow! Wow! That is so awesome. The whole thing? You get all the organs and everything? I am so envious right this moment. How many freezers does that take? Can anyone order? My butchers in the area only provide me with scraps. They do give me the organs I want including the brain. That is hard to find. Wow. Ok that is the last wow....I never even thought about doing this and I am feeding 10 dogs. Thanks for the GREAT tip.

Jeff (Hubby) will take Max to Home Depot even when we don't need anything. He (Jeff) just LOVES the attention. Max enjoys it to! I need to update his profile pic. That was when he was about 12 weeks or so. He is sportin his mature puppy dog look these days :)

My brother in law is raising the beef....the last time I bought one from him it gave me about 400 lbs of beef and meaty bones. John my brother in law raising them so that their close to adult weight but still has the texture of baby beef, but still has the stronger beef flavour. That was many years ago. The cost was $2 per pound walking weight. I'm pretty sure anyone can but cow or part of an cow from the local butcher. And if you ask that butcher they may tell you who raises beef that you can buy off of direct. I just tell the butcher what I want for cuts.

Deny I would love to see up dated picture!

Max is stunning ! And I love his coat. He looks very laid back. I bet he gets crowds at the home depot. :) The other dogs are cute too. Is that a Staffie? Again, I think its wonderful what you do for those fortunate dogs that end up in your local shelter. They are very fortunate to have you.

His name is Peanut. He is a Staffie mix. Vet thinks a little bit Great Dane, little bit Shar pei. He weighs about 90 lbs. Really anybody's guess. His Mom was for sure a Blue Nose. Peanut was born in the Shelter. He is a GREAT pooch. Very submissive. Max is laid back but when that puppy energy does kick in he is like a plow. I walk him early in the morn and late in the evening cause it is WAY to hot for him during the day. Yep, God Bless Tx & Louisiana. :)

Logan is 5 months old and is continuously growing. He's weighing in at 74 lbs. And 26 in. He is losing his baby teeth, and his movements are more graceful. Though he still has moments when he's tripping over his own feet. ☺
He is becoming more protective of his territory. And his bark is much deeper. I was telling Zeela that there is a saying that a CAS bark would scare the devil himself! I'm sure we could all attest to that as mastiff owners! Anyway, here are a few pics of my polar bear. 20180802_075822.jpg 20180802_075839.jpg 20180802_075854.jpg 20180802_075708.jpg 20180716_124628.jpg 20180802_075702.jpg 20180802_075656.jpg

I have missed being on the forum! I've been so busy w the new school year, and a part time job, dog training, keeping up w house and yard work, etc...

Logan is 6 months old now, and filling in. He is absolutely beautiful. He has a great personality. Very devoted and loving. And very guardian!! I have a couple of pics, but need to get some better ones. I don't know how much he weighs as of now, but guessing close to 90. I'm about to go read up on all I've missed :) Hope everyone is doing well.
