Cane mix with German Shepherd

Hi all,
I've had my (not so little) puppy for 5 months now and he is a cane mix with a German Shepherd. He is 1 at the end of this month and nearly 55kg(120lb) already does anyone have a prediction on the potential size he could get too, he has grown like crazy since buying him. I have looked online but can't seem to find anyone with this mix of the two dogs , does anyone have any experience with a cross like this?
I have found him very intelligent and super obedient picking commands up very well.

Welcome to the forum. Honestly? All mixes are different. Genetics determines final size, so I'd say take a look at his parents and go from there.

That‘s a tough one. Even harder to predict in a mix. I‘ve never met/seen a mix of the two breeds. Had anyone asked me about an adult size projection (very much generalized), I would have said somewhere around 100lbs. At 1, he can easily gain some extra pounds and probably will be. Do you know the parents‘ size?

I know it is difficult to estimate , his mum was around the 110-120lb mark which is big for a shepherd and the dad was around 150-160lb but when looking at estimated sizes for both he currently at that higher end already but see alot of people who own them have quite big and heavy dogs.
As far as mix goes he seems 75% cane can see the mannerisms and very protective traits. Was just curious as never seen or heard of the mix, he went from living on a farm with other shepherds and husky to living in a home very well
