Lol, and he better stop it already! His breeder is hoping for around 130. He is leveling out though, only about 2lbs a week for the last two weeks.

Yes, Mason is a beast. ;)
It's kind of funny how quickly the growth tapers off. Junior was stuck at 125 for 2 weeks but still filling out. I'll hopefully be weighing him tomorrow since it's his birthday. :)

I just adopted a pit/bullmastiff mix. He has all the traits of a bullmastiff. I found this site in the hope of gaining insight into his future. Here is his growth thus far.

11 weeks: 29.5 lbs
12 weeks: 32.5 lbs

Huge puppy! Maybe he is an English mastiff mix? Do you have pictures? Are they certain of the date of birth? What was the story with the litter?

17 weeks: 52.3lbs
19 weeks: 61.7lbs
20 weeks: 65.7lbs
21 weeks: 69.4lbs
22 weeks: 74.5lbs
23 weeks: 78.4lbs
24 weeks: 83.3lbs
25 weeks: 85.0lbs
26 weeks: 89.2lbs < --- 6 months
28 weeks: 94.2lbs
29 weeks: 96.6lbs
30 weeks: 100.0lbs!!

He's looking lanky this week and I didn't think he gained at all. I was super shocked when I saw two zeros on the scale!! IMO, he looks like a 70, maybe 80lb dog. He just doesn't look like he can weigh that much at his height. I think his bones are made of uranium.

Here is a bit more, to keep filling out his growth.

11 weeks 29.5lbs
12 weeks 32.5
13 weeks 36lbs
14 weeks 38.5
14 weeks 41.5lbs

OK. Here is the story. I got him from a girl who's boyfriend's parents breed bullmastiffs. She had a small female pit (50lbs) that went into heat and had an affair with one of their young males. He was big, she says, but the mother was small. My boy was the tallest and had the loose skin typical of mastiffs. I can tell you that I have trained German Shepherds my entire life, so I am used to alpha male dogs...this guy is the most alpha I have ever encountered. I will have to train him well, cause he is absolutely not afraid of anything and definitely rules my rescue pit who is 65lbs of muscle. Quite amazing, really, but I take it seriously and have been putting a lot of time into socialization. I can also say that he is smart, but not as interested in pleasing me as my German Shepherds have always been. I would describe him more like, OK. I'll do it. I am working on getting more attentive response from him. I do not know if others have similar experiences. If so, please share. I will post a picture soon.

Great thread.. I am in the midst of this with my 4 month CC and love it. Yesterday was her 4m,1w weigh in and even though she never eats as much as I would want she managed to put on 5lbs in a week! 63lbs and going strong for the predicted 110-120

+1 on the comment about how they do not look that big but then they tip the scales. Funny how that works!

Thanks sammiefishsticks :)
Bullmastiffs are pretty scarce where we live so Ottis always attracts attention when out and about. Who can resist a mastiff face!

What a great thread! I tried to weigh Alvar on my scales and got about 13kg so around 28 pounds, but he wouldn't stay still so that is just a rough guess. And I measured him at his shoulder level and he is 39cm or 15 1/4 inch :) he is a big broad stocky boy compared to his sister who is more lean and looks to be all legs and yet still smaller then him. He has his own mark on the kids Hight wall now, the kids were wrapped that he will be getting measured there also.
