In your Fila opinions who are the best Fila breeders in the states?
Do health testing?
Possibly actually work there dogs? (Don't matter what they work in & I don't mean show puppets)

First I just want to thank the moderators for being relaxed and letting threads go where they go, thats what makes this forum popular. That being said the thread locked down yesterday was the first one I have seen locked on this forum. And Geisthexe you were a big reason why it was. Based on your comments you have no interest or admiration for Filas so stop stirring the pot. I like Presas and have observed them working in person but that does not make me an expert on them nor do I feel the need to go to that forum kick up dust. There are some cool people on this forum, Chuck and AB are two of them. Chill out, this isn't a pecker measuring contest.

Ace I am only asking by no means trying to stir up something and I am not the big reason it was shut down as I never insulted the Fila.
I don't want to start a fight at all ..

I am just asking a question if no answer I can do my own research for them. Not hard. Just wanted thoughts of good ones

The best Filas in the US are generally bred by private breeders who do not advertise or have websites. Filas are a breed apart and cannot be understood unless you have owned one or several.

Ok so with that said is there way to contact them at all?
As I don't want to learn more about them in here but the breeders themselves.
Yes I have trained a few and yes two of them were very nice but young. There obedience came out very nice and very responsible owners as with ALL large breeds, APBT & Shepherds I go over this with a fine tooth comb.
So that being said I think talking to breeders would be a more interesting way to understand. I personally do not want to hear from a person who only owns one. Not stabbing at any owner here as not my intention. But wanting to hear from breeders who have seen issues as well as non issues.

I honestly I'm inclined to believe "best breeders" in general. At least it seems that way to me.
