Hello, New guy here.
Background: We (my wife and I) have foster failed 5 times since 2005 through GLMR (Great Lakes Mastiff Rescue). 4 males and 1 female. Most have been seniors (4-9). Recently helped our lady cross the rainbow bridge. No EMs or other dogs now. I grew up with my family rescuing Great Danes and we always had multiple. GLMR has come to us with a bonded pair, Mother and Son. We are awaiting the evaluation and I wanted to do some research prior to the eval.
Question: Anyone have direct experience with foster/adoption of a bonded pair let alone a Mother and son that can provide some insight or advise? We are open to a bonded pair and have the room and financial ability but we want to really know what we may be getting into with a bonded pair or mother/son adoption. Thank you!
