Boerboel throwing up

Thank you Sabrina!!!
I think I finally have my problem solved too with my big boy. I tried the ball in his food and water and he always found a way to push it out before eating or drinking or would take it out to play with it... Well I am now one step ahead of the little bugger. I feed him 4 times a day now. Twice in the morning and twice at night. Within a half hour of each feeding so as to give him time to digest a little. I now give him equal parts food and water 4 times a day. He is still getting his full intake of food but just more often . But since I have started (like someone wise and with personal experiences told me in a earlier post) feeding Murray equal parts food and water and 4 times a day I have not once had to deal with him throwing up!! Woo hoo! He even walks past the water bowl now instead of gorging on it. When he does take a drink now it is a small drink! Woo hoo. So I think that the dilemma is solved finally and now I wont have to watch my poor boy throwing up anymore. Thank you to all who made suggestions and for all your help in my solving this issue. I am still using the ball now and then but the equal parts food and water seems to be really working for me and Murray!! :)

I am so happy to hear that it is working out!
I know how hard it is to try and figure out why your baby is puking :( not a lot of fun to watch.
Keep us updated on this beautiful boy, the rest of the pack as well!

Have been following this thread as my girl has started this the last few days. Was vet checked last week and all was well. She has been scarfing up her food and water, so I will try the ball and the softened food and see if that helps. Also just fed her outside, maybe not so many messes to clean. (its nice outside today) :)
