Boerboel experiences/information

This isn't going to happen anytime soon, probly a year or 2 away if not more but this breed has peaked my interest and I admittedly don't have any first hand experience with them. Would anyone mind sharing? How are the compared to Corso's and other mastiffs? Any opinions are appreciated

I've been reading the info online but would really like people that actually have them or experienced them to pipe in. I find that tells the best story.

The one's I've met have been a little more laid back than Corsi, not quite as hard or sharp in temperament I guess. Calm, fairly aloof but not shy or aggressive, just uninterested in new people but don't mind being pet or anything. That's just my experience with the one's I've met, which to date is 4, but I've spent time around 2 of them multiple times now. I'm pretty sure thats my next dog too! But probably not for 4 or 5 years
