Lol! You need to start taking photos of your birds, bet you've got some I don't see either! :p

I'll see if I can get some of the redpolls and American Tree sparrows tomorrow for you!

I will. I'm usually too busy watching them to think of grabbing my camera. I'll try to get some this weekend though.

We usually only get those cow birds every now and then but they will wipe out my feeders in no time. Same with those dang Starlings. Luckily we haven't been discovered at our house, but at our apartment they would clean us out.
What we call a cow bird down here is a tall white kinda herring tyoe bird. damn it now you bird brains got me in this mess.

Almost every kind of sparrow, robins, chickadees, goldfinch, house finch, titmice, doves, cardinals, blue jays, bluebirds, orioles, red winged blackbird, other blackbirds, cat birds, grackles, Cooper's hawk, Downy woodpecker, hummingbirds, wrens, Pileated woodpecker, Red-Bellied woodpecker, nuthatches, ....owls and eagles in the reserve across the street from me; and thank-goodness because of Bella this year I will not have to deal with those damn pigeons hanging out in my yard around my bird feeders!! Now, if I could just make Bella understand that the bird baths are not her personal watering dishes!!
P. S Let me know if I have to produce pics as proof....for now 2 of the grandchildren are here for the rest of the day :)

lol! You don't HAVE to produce pictures, but I'd love to see them! I'm dying to set out my hummingbird feeders, but its still dropping below freezing at night and I KNOW I'd forget to bring them in....

One more week of the weather we've been having, and my hummingbird feeders are going out! I will try for pics...I tried some yesterday, but the lighting was no good, and my phone camera is not going to work. Going to dig out my digital camera and try that...if it doesn't work I will enlist the help of my daughter who only believes in "old fashioned" cameras with great zoom...she should be able to get some good pics :)

Thats an American Goldfinch in summer/mating colors (well, mostly, he's still got a little molting to do). I'm drawing a blank, but I'm sure I posted a picture of a goldfinch earlier in the thread in winter colors, they're much more drab in the winter.

They're quite cute to watch, and we have tons here. Last summer at one point, when I was just out of bed and standing in the kitchen waiting for coffee to brew I was staring out the kitchen window (without my glasses) and wondering why the dandilions looked like they were dancing. Took me a minute to realize it was the goldfinches bouncing around in the yard....
