Bear isn't too sure about the vet

So we took Bear into the vet to get a Rabies shot and to pick up our mercury-free / preservative free vaccine (going to see if he still forms a lump after this vaccine like he did with the first two).

Anyways, he has only seen Dr. Ben 1 other time for his first check up and to examine the lump he had when we got him. Needless to say, maybe he is starting to come into temp. I think next time we will have to go with a muzzle. But he got out of the car, wagged his tail once when he got to the vet's feet and stopped and stared at him.. During the whole examine he was a very good boy but had this totally serious look on his face. Once we got back in the car he was as happy and wiggly as before haha :)

I would have liked to socialize Bear with Dr. Ben since he is our favorite and primary vet, but out here in the boonies he doesn't really have an office like vets have in the city. Ben knows we like to do most things ourselves anyways and is good with that and I think that will help when Bear comes into full temp.

My girls aren't too keen to go to the Vet, but boy are they happy when we leave!

Titan has to wear a muzzle to the vet. I had to change vets from a vet I had with my other 3 pups because he was afraid of Titan and Titan knew it. The new vet is not afraid of Titan but he's seriously against feeding raw diet. I only take Titan to the vet if he is sick or has an injury. I use Luv My Pet (they travel to Petcos across the U.S. for vaccinations and blood work) for his rabies and heart worm test.

Thankfully our vet is aware of what Bear will become. He didnt know of the breed but once we met with him I think he researched after. When we walked up he said "Is he mean yet?" hahah, we both laughed. I am hoping that he will be willing to work with us once Bear actually comes into his temp. I Would be surprised if he didnt, he is a large and small animal vet so working with cattle isn't always the easiest task...
