Thanks everybody! lol I saw the fence thing, I wouldn't dare leave them out there (in my yard) alone.....ever! Fila threads can be abrasive, though I've also been going to school since getting out of the Corp and boy everything takes up so much time... gotta stop neglecting you guys lol! Don't think I haven't been reading though!

lol, Dont worry tiger it was a joke. We all know our dogs, what they are capable of and what it takes to be responsible. We were just poking fun at someone who got on a really responsible and experienced Fila owner because he thought her fence was not up to his standard.

Cinammon and Tiger.. they dont all have those "hook" tails and there is no purpose for it. it shouldnt be corked screw or "kinked" and it can't curl over their back. some say the curved tail comes from the Fila Tercierense(sp) which supposedly had a heavily curved tail... dont know why i can remember that crap but cant remember my wife's birthday, lol.

BTW that Fila Terceirense is believed by some to have been in the initial makeup of the breed which would make sense as it came from portugal and was a herder of cattle...

The arse sway comes from the camel pace... its just the way they walk.... how they aqcuired that pace? i'm not sure but my guess is that since it is an energy saving way of moving that it was just developed in the breed.

a tid bit of trivia though...the Neo, English sheepdog, Polish Lowland Sheepdog all do this sort of pace and are not docked points for it (with AKC).

She sways like a camel as well, its funny. I've never seen another dog of a different breed with the same characteristics of fila. They are just different, I swear more cat then dog.
