Wow. I wonder who got paid to add that little caveat.

Wouldn't it be easier to add a statement that the dog be 'behaviour tested' by APL ... APL could then charge a fee for that service and the dogs moving in from out of state with owners would still be able to stay with their family...

Seems silly that if I get a job in Ashtabula, I would have to surrender my dog to the APL (causing undue stress in the dog's life, no matter their health status otherwise), only to re-adopt him after they "verify" he's a good dog.

Pretty crooked little town. I considered settling there because it's so beautiful, & there's a huge dog club close by. Changed my mind after staying there for awhile. Pitiful.

With every ounce of my being I hate the types of people who have put Pit Bulls in these situations. Can we just just ban druggies, gangbangers, dogfighters and backyard breeders in every county? Better yet can we just load all of them up and dump them on some crappy island somewhere?
