Are the drugs we give our dogs safe?

Unfortunately there is no "drug" that is 100% risk free. I "died", heart stopped, from one Aspirin about 20 years ago![had taken aspirin before]. And even though it is horrible that dogs have possible died from Trifexis, 700 since 2011 that is 175/year of how many doses sold a year? And how many of the dogs were healthy "young" dogs? Not arguing that it is not bad, but some articles are not telling the whole story. And yes you have to educate yourself about about any drug, human or canine/feline and not just take what the Dr give you because money unfortunately do rule the pharmaceutical world.
