  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Apollo is already growing in his winter coat....

Whats insane about it is that if you'd asked me a week ago I'd have said he wasn't QUITE done shedding! There was still patches on his butt, tail, and ruff where I was still getting undercoat out of. But yesterday I realized the fur on his sides felt thicker than it had, and today I'm sure of it.

Pretty sure I don't want to know what that means for the coming winter.....

Guess that means I need to weigh the collected fluff and get it off to the place that'll spin it for me!

Who needs wooly worms or the Farmers Almanac? We'll just check with Apollo for winter predictions!

I'd wear a tibetan mastiff fur sweater any day!!!-I'll best you have the warmest birds in the winter-they peobably weave his fur into their nests.

My master plan, instead of wool rugs, is to just double face tape the entire floor & let it be 1 big fur rug, & to find a fancy toilet like bowl for the kitchen--dogs prefer to drink from the toilet for a reason--they need to make a dog bowl that can be hardlined & works just like a toilet--only looks like some type of pretty porcelain dog dowl--could you imagine how happy a dog would be if they were only allowed their own toilet bowl?
Can't be too hard to do & they're easy to clean!

Hah, I like the double faced tape idea lol, though I have to say my carpet does a good impression. Pretty sure we vacummed up as much fur as I saved.....

I swear I saw a dog bowl shaped like a toilet bowl....

Yeah--that's light weight though-probably plastic, but cute-

What I mean is hardlined into the plumbing just like a toilet-flushes/refills & has a float & all--toilets last forever-they're heavy duty & scrubbable-just flush to rinse--someone surely has had to invent something similar that is not barn equipment. If dogs always have a waterbowl in the same place, it just makes sense--you hardline your fridge, your dishwasher--why not a dog bowl?

It says ceramic but yah, I know what you mean lol, there are bowls that you can connect to hoses but they're usually plastic.

I was just talking to the lady who owns his sister, they're in Nebraska, and she says all 4 of her TMs are already growing in fluff, and all of them had extended sheds too......

Mooshi is at it too. Her fluff is coming through but she is still loosing her trousers and tail - explain that one!! I raked out a huge amount from her trousers the other day but her sides and legs are already coming through. She is going to look a right state soon, no tail, no trousers all body. Grrr!

Exactly! I brushed him last night right before bed, and got a good handfull from his ruff and rump.....I need to do his tail again too, cause he never did shed out his tail completely so I bet he's still shedding there too....

Oh you can pretty much bet on it that he is. I didn't think Mooshi's tail was shedding much at all until I looked to the core and found it to be one massive rotten knot! And I mean it was a bloody mess, I thought I was going to have to shave it. I now have more on my feather duster than she does on her tail. her trousers?? well you have never seen such a sorry state!

Mooshi showed me a picture of Moo when she was blowing coat.....wow. Simply amazed what these guys go through in terms of "changing seasons."
