So the co-op I use offer blue ridge beef products they do grind products for the most part... the protein/bone grind are about 30% bone so my question is for the most part is... ill change the grind with bone out monthly to a different protein beef/venison/chicken/quail/rabbit/pork/ 1-2 more but... with it being 30% bone and say I feed 4 lbs right now to my mastiff how much would I have to add to to get 10% I cant seem to figure it out

Well, 30% of 4lbs is 1.2lbs of bone. Thats ALOT of bone.

So lets work smaller than that, 1lb of grind is .3 bone and .7meat. .30 of a pound is 10% of 3lbs So if you feed 3lbs total on a daily basis you can feed 1lb of the grind to get your 10% bone, and then another .3 of a pound of organs, and then another 1.7lbs of meat to make up the total 3lbs.

And now you know why I don't feed bone in grinds.

If you want to use the ground to replace your bone content, and you're currently feeding 4lbs, you'd feed 1.33lbs of the bone in grind to equal .40 lbs of bone, along with another .40 lbs of organ, and another 2.67 lbs of meat to equal 4lbs daily.
