Anyone use a rolled rope nylon collar?

Right now we have been using a lupine flat nylon collar for Vader. He is getting some irritation around his neck. A neighbor mentioned a rolled rope collar, said it reduces chafing /irritation. Has anyone ever used one? I usually take his collar off when he is in the house, so looking for something easy maybe with a buckle to take on and off.

Well, first off are you sure its the collar and not something else?

But if you think its the collar you're better off trying a different material all together, leather or the like.
