Anyone have any experience with Roman Cane Corso in PA?

I am also looking for reputable breeders to purchase my first CC. I love the look of Roman Cane Corso's dogs. I also inquired with Gensen at Roman's CC. She was very helpful on the phone and we spoke for nearly a hour about her dogs and bloodlines. I am leaning towards them as well, especially after reading all your positive posts about Roman.
$3500? Roman Charges alot.

I have no doubt that firehorse CC have great dogs with great temperament. However, I just don't like the look of their dogs.

Personally I think those prices are nuts, there are many great breeders that have more reasonable prices. But if you are dead set on his dogs, then you will have to pay that. None of his younger dogs are champions, they only have their CGC, which isn't to difficult to get. Not all dogs bread need to be show dogs, but showing your dog and winning does mean something. I would be happy to see some other working titles, but they don't have any. IMO I think it's tacky to post how many deposits you have on each upcoming liter. Also...where is the health testing info for each dog? I would not buy a dog without seeing actual copies of his/her health testing. I don't take anyone's word on that stuff.

My pup Gia is 8 months and came from Romans. Her temperament is amazing and she definitely has not had the guarding bred out of her. I can't say enough great things about this dog. Her father was Buccelli and her mom Ana. He currently doesn't show and I don't think has any plans to. Romans has bred Corsi for 24 years and are a trusted name. I have nothing but great things to say about there kennel except they are very expensive in comparison to other fabulous breeders. Having a dog like Gia though is worth every penny!

Hi, all!
I purchased a Roman Cane Corso just about a year ago and I and my family love her to death! Yes, she was expensive but the sheer amount of testimonials on there website is what pushed me to go with them. Anyway, I came across this forum and thought I'd post. Also, for those interested, as of today (9/20/15), their website says "Roman Cane Corso's is no longer in business selling puppies".

Romans, is no longer breeding. Yep, what previous poster said. Dogs were nice, but more expensive than any other breeder.
