Well my neighbor was in absolute confusion when I told him his Danes were GM. ahahahahaa. And I must say, they are frigging huge. They look Konas size behind the fence. Damn male bumped me and liked to knocked me over. He thinks they will protect, but I uspect they are big pussy cats. They sure as hell put on a show behind the fence. But they just loved me once I stepped through it. He has a 7yr old girl thats got the gray snout. The funny thing is she has these huge gray eye brows. Looks like an old Jewish guy. ahahahahahahaha

LOL, a lot of people do. Even when I had my two ( American and European Danes )dide people would always question me about them even though they were the same. Is your neighbor the same guy that has four black danes? How big is the male? Haha yea, sometimes they don't understand their size I've gotten bruises from Thor and now Stone. Most are push overs I'm still waiting for that one fila in disguise, lol!

He has 3. I thought it was 4. Then folks across the street has the brother of his old girl. The male is big as hell. His butt is bout as high as mine and I'm 6ft and good and long. I would not test the theory as if your wrong, thats a huge dog to find out it aint playing games. ahahaha. But up close, he looks rather goofy. Not in a bad way just a "which way did he go goerge, which way did he go?" kinda way. ahahahaha. But just size alone if he just layed on you it would hard to get away let alone bite or claw your face

Wow that's a big dog........I will say this for the American dane they certainly are taller.

I dont know one from the other. Just reasons to me if one is a mastiff the other would be as well.

American danes are more "refined" taller European are more robust hearty dogs usually "shorter".
