2 year old CC is very tall and very long, but will his chest and head ever fill out?

Wondering if other owners can help?
I hear conflicting stories about whether Jack will ever "fill out" - while he is 32" at the shoulder and 32" from shoulder to bum, his chest is only 36" around / 7" from shoulder to shoulder in front.
While he is thin, he is healthy and active and beautiful and goofy and all the good things, but in some ways he looks more like a Dane than a Corso. My vet thinks he's just going to be skinny, but another CC owner told me her dog continued filling out until he was 3, so am wondering what others' experience has been. Thank you!
