my corso Sophie has taken it up a notch as far as normal barking at neighbors etc has now escalated her hackles stand up she won't back down all of a sudden is deaf lol. Its to where the neighbor is fearful although there is a 5ft fence, I understand she is intimidating . I generally when introducing someone I have to take their hand and she has to see me and she is pushy yes as far as trying to while for lack of a better word punk them. she generally warms up but I have to say it does take a few visits. but recently have noticed she's taking it up a notch honestly previously I believed it was this fear aggression now its different. the neighbor wants her chained up I am not doing that no way but I need some help as a form of some type of discipline where she can differentiate that this is ok this is not she is food driven treat generally works but I need to make sure that now as its critical I feel time is running that I need to attempt to nip this in the bud

Corsos have many stages of fear stages, shes at the age where she needs to be shown what is ok and whats not, you say she is food motivated so once shes shown you someone is there you call her back tell her its ok we say enough and get her to stay away, you must stay calm, youll need to be consistent with the approach. Im pleased your not going to chain her up, no need for this, just make certain tour fencing is secure and if you can maybe use trellis on top of fence to make it higher. Also be out in the garden as much as you can when the neighbour is out there, do training activities with her she will get used to them being in the garden and learn thats normal.
Also corsos can be aloof with strangers, she may not want to be touched by people, as long as she ignores that is fine.

Correct the dog if it's displaying aggressive behaviour towards neighbours then reward it once the aggressive behaviour is extinguished. Also if your dog does not like people, stop introducing it to people there is no reason for people to meet your dog and interact with your dog unless they live in your house.

Does the pup get daily exercise? Not just casual play at home, but long walks, parks and just about anywhere a pup can go.
It makes a world of difference when the dogs live a "normal" doggy life of getting out and about every day. Boredom always leads to bad behavior.
