Lionheart Cane Corso was contacted today by a very nice woman who is fostering a Cane Corso and is looking for a forever home for her. She is generously giving her a warm place to stay but is also in the dog show community and has her own dogs to attend to. She was found on her property in Lockeford, CA which is just outside of Lodi. Here is the information she gave us-
"She has no chip, had no collar, but sores around her neck, probably from being tied. She appears to be about 1 - 3 yrs. Has had pups, she has saggy bags, and was in heat when we found her, but I'm pretty sure she was not in standing heat. She is about 26" tall, and was very thin when we found her she should probably weigh about 100+. She's very sweet, but does seem to have been mistreated, she cowered for the first few days. First saw her on 11/20. We are calling her Gypsey."
