He still has a few months to grow. Make sure he gets proper nutrition. Raw diet is the best.

    Cane corso 17 months size/weight

Genetics is the main factor for the size. Not having much appetite for a puppy is unusual. Maybe do a thorough health check to be sure.

Experience with multiple males in household?

You're very welcome. I have a spayed female too, she's a Malinois. She can beat the crap out of all the guys when she wants too. She's just so much faster and has so much more energy, she wears them out first, and then gets on top of them when they lay down in submission and has her way with...

Sudden, unexpected aggression, rescue cane corso

Any dog with any amount of training can be "triggered" by something. It could be a bad memory, or a new "unknown thing." It is normal for all dogs to have those triggers, just as humans do. The main approach should be to find the triggers. Some can be corrected, and some should be avoided.

16 month corso female aggressive different behavior

Does the pup get daily exercise? Not just casual play at home, but long walks, parks and just about anywhere a pup can go. It makes a world of difference when the dogs live a "normal" doggy life of getting out and about every day. Boredom always leads to bad behavior.

Experience with multiple males in household?

I've had a mix of two males for a long time. A combination of Shar-Pei, GSD, Cane Corso and Amstaff. They are all territorial breeds and guard dogs, they never got into fights. But they each needed their space and privacy. Perhaps most importantly, they needed equal attention. Playing favorite...

    Potty Training

My 12 week old was potty trained in 5 days. 5 sleepless night to add to it. I just knew by his body language he needed to go, and would immediately walk him to the yard. He was going every other hour, thus the sleepless nights. A small treat and praises to follow every time he went outside...

Fasting Raw fed dog & 2 meals or 1 ?

More activity = More nutritional need. Try a rest day. Fasting is always a good thing. Twice a day is fine. Observe diligently.

Puppy- How much should i feed my boy

Just like humans, feed more after an active day, and make sure there's rest time after activity. Check the muscles, more protein if the muscles look small. Check for body fat, less calories and more exercise if the fat starts to build up. Don't forget (safe) bones and properly made veggies...

    Underweight cane corso puppy

Don't worry about the weight. They grow slowly. Just wait and see.

4 Year old Brindle Cane Corso

Allergies are a sign of weakened immune system. Or exposure to chemicals, like household cleaners. Add high end probiotics to the diet. Raw food is better than any kibble, don't give up. Raw food also needs properly made veggies and fruits.

**Looking for alternative food to help with digestive issues. **

Have you tied the raw diet? Dogs do well without any carbs or grains. They can get their calories from healthy fats. And some proper veggies. It takes some manual work, but it's worth the health benefits.

    El Chapo says hi

El Chapo is 5 months old. He survived Parvo when he was 10 weeks old, before he could get vaccinated. He is a rescue from a bad breeder, who just gave the puppy away to an even worse owner, where he was dumped in a small back yard under the weather. He is doing very well now. High end raw diet...
