I saw a video on Jason Corey's channel where he talked to his dog's breeder. She said she preferred the solid colors over the diluted colors because of certain health issues. For that reason I would probably pick black over grey. I don't have all the details, so I would suggest getting on YouTube and looking for that video.

Actually both of these pups are Brindle. It is a proven fact that Black Brindle dogs live longer than All other colors in the Corso breed.

Do you have to choose so young? Can you wait to see what personality traits develop? Color should always be secondary to temperament and two weeks is much to early to judge that. I'm surprised a breeder would allow choices so early. All the ones I've dealt with do not and they match the pup to the buyer based on lifestyle and what the buyer is planning to do with the dog -i.e. service, sport, etc.

My eyes don't do well on a computer screen so I can't really tell from the pictures, but that second pup looks to be blue brindle to me. If that's the case that would be considered dilute, yes?

Honestly just wondering what people thought... it is way too early to pick... will not be picking until week 6 or 7..

Both of the pups are female, and Brindle. Within the Corso breed the black brindle has been found to have the longest life span on average.

So both pups are black brindle? The second pup really doesn't look like it on my screen. Maybe my eyes really are still messed up, lol.
