Toys idea

George loves toys, specially ropes and any material toys but...they last 5 min and I need to clean up the mess after him, lol.
He uses chewable plastic toys but definitely prefer material based ones.

Any idea what works for your dog?

I have found it depends on the toy. Some that I thought would be destroyed within minutes are still intact months later despite both dogs attempts to dismember them. Some heavy duty toys were torn apart with in a day.

I would try tugs made out of I think a thick canvas or some type of PVC material. I have one and the trick is to keep it away and never let the dog get a hold of the handles or sit and play with it alone. It will become a special toy for him that only the 2 of you play with. Other then that I freeze 5 Kongs filled with Peanut butter which keeps her occupied. She spends hours trying to figure out how to get the peanut butter that's deep, so she puts it up high and rolls it off the edge of things, like the edge of the couch or coffee table. So a small piece will come out once in a while. Plus chews it and ive been lucky with not breaking too many of them.

The crocheted toys are over 4 years old and not only have no damage but the squeaker in ducky still works. They were a gift from a member to replace a christmas gift (other crocheted toys) that had been destroyed by the dogs. The dragon was bought the start of April and despite several prolonged attempts by Kryten to rip the fire out of its mouth, the only change from when it was in the store is it needs a bath.

We still have some of Hectors crocheted toys, too!

We also have some Fluff & Tuff toys - they have taken a beating, and still survive!
... my sister's border collie, who has razors for teeth, can chew through them, but Denna hasn't been able to do more than put a small tear in the ear of her tiger.

Here's her with the Fluff & Tuff Fish - when new, and after one full year of playtime.

We use the fluff and tuff toys. The dogs still eventually destroy them but they last much longer than any other stuffed toys.

get a 10" jolly ball and a roll of rope from home depot to make tug toys
Jolly balls and ropes don't last long in our home. For balls I found that the tiny nerf for dogs footballs last much longer than anything else. Real soccers and basketballs (also tennis balls) are demolished pretty quickly. But these tough tiny nerf balls for dogs last us forever. I think we've found them on Amazon and also occasionally at Target.

I am pretty sure Kahlua and Diesel would win the championship for Destructo-Dogs.

Tried fluff and tuff couple things. Last 10 min, lol. He loved them but I don't like to pick up stuffing all around the house. any rope get destroyed in 10--30 min max. But looking from the good side he didn't touch any furniture or wall ever!

We love elk antlers. Not the ones cut in half or with a pointed end, the round and thick kind. We get them on Amazon for $50 (pricey but last for months). We monitor how long Brinks has it though, maybe 1-2 hours then it gets put away- if we let him chew too long and his old gums get too roughed up.
We also have the super strong (Black) Kong toys. They’ve lasted us 6 years.

My dogs love these ones:

They are the only toy they can't destroy! My dogs will destroy all the Kong toys that are supposed to be indestructible. And they love a nice raw marrow bone from the meat counter ;)

We have done the hartz before too. They don't destroy them as much but they also get bored with them pretty quickly. But like your's mine can destroy a kong. They can destroy anything. I'm not sure there is an indestructible toy when it comes to our dogs.
