  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Good to be back! Gemma is now 4 and we are living the dream in coastal Florida. Have some new questions coming.
However somewhere in the transition my account name got screwed up. I would greatly appreciate if you can fix it.
It is supposed to be Totò (or Toto), not TotÃ3

Noted and fixed! ~V

Hi. We have just been super busy. On top of one daughter finishing grad school and another under graduating from college. In the past year Yogi had some major liver issues that he was hospitalized for twice. Gemma blew out first one rear knee then the other a month later!!!
All are doing well and I am going to find time to browse this site once again. Hope every one else is well also!!!

Hi! I've been on the app that took over the forum months ago...I don't think it's the same as this forum though? I was having log in issues on that app so just gave up. I'm glad to find all of you again though!
Brinks is going on 6 years now and we wouldn't have made it through the 1st two years without ALL OF YOU! The support and advice has been of such great value. Some of you might recall Brinks had terrible stomach issues resulting several Vet visits. I'm happy to say that since he's been on a chicken-free, grain-free, Dairy-free, beef-free diet and eating 3 small meals a day- he's been doing great! He's slower and sleepier these days but loves his short walks, daycare visits and his new chickens.
I look foward to staying connected on here to chime in to help others whenever possible!
Attaching a pic of Brinks :)

Daisy's Mom

Hi! I too was on here when we first got Daisy, who just turned 6. As others have indicated we are dealing with health issues at home, but thankful she's been a part of our lives and trying to keep her as healthy as possible. Daisy's had 2 ACL surgeries (those are fun- not!)- and her legs are better than new now. BUT...like Stacks, we are now dealing with heart issues. Shortly after her 2nd surgery, we went for an annual checkup and the vet found a murmur. That led to $$ and all of the testing and a Halter monitor. That cardiologist indicated Sic Sinus Syndrome. She had no outward symptoms (like the fainting), so it was a follow up months later. We went for a 2nd opinion with another cardiologist. She said her heart has enlarged since the 1st cardiologist. Agrees with the sic sinus syndrome. Halter monitor this time was ok in regards to her heart rate. So it's just keep watch right now. These dogs are just loves, but boy heart breaking at the same time! Thanks for the email! And Stacks- thank you for your service!!

I am still around. Sent one over the bridge and Max is now 11. Between my real job and my photography business I have very little free time.

I got it!! I am on and off.
I did post pics of Flower on her 8th bday. Maddie will be 5 in October, time has flown. They are both doing wonderful.
I have now lost my dad(April 20, 2014) and my mil (April 1, 2016) . Plus my cancer coming back 2x since 2014. I still get weekly treatments and will for life, just had #120. So it has overrun most things. The skin kids are now 7 and 13!! They play soccer, volleyball, basketball and are both A honor roll! So just mad busy. I will try to be better about touching base. We used to have some wonderful conversations, lol. Especially when it came to the Filas, hahaha.

I didn't get an e-mail, but I check in once in a while to see what's been happening. Jake will be 6 in August and is doing well after all his health issues. We said goodbye to our 17 year old kitty earlier this year, but we still have Jake's best little buddy Harry.

Sorry guys I've been so busy I've barely the time to play with Bella... But of course I make the time.....
Got a question about vaccinations ..... I've hear from some mastiff owner that these shoots aren't so good for the mastiff that it reeks havoc on their immune system?
Anyone else been told this?

Speaking of this site, I used to be a "senior member" but now I am just a "member", but some are "well known" members, and some "active" members....I guess I don't quite get it, but anyway....this is an awesome gathering place for those of us who love our doggies. Have a great day.
