Some Random Pics From Behind The Scenes At Westminster

Most of the DDB's were small. I met a judge at the vet and she told me that Titan had a beautiful head but she would disqualify him for being short. Hmmmm...

Cane Corsos were stunning especially the winner!

The Cane Corsos I saw in the benching area were impressive, and imposing. And big!

Must add seeing Westminster in person to my bucket list!! A lot of these breeds I've never seen in person. I would never own one but to meet one would be cool. I actually finally met a Whippet this year, she was adorable. Call me weird but I'd love to get my hands on a Bedlington Terrier. They look so soft!! Too delicate looking of a breed for me, I just want to pet it!

Ruth was one of apollo's litter mates there? I saw a picture on WKC's Facebook page that I swear from the angle was a spitting image of him

I'm so bad...Westminster is literally a 20 minute walk from where I live, and I don't go that often. Well, it's expensive, and sometimes I just can't deal with the crowd scene (and it IS a serious crowd scene.)

But, now that the breed judging is at the Piers (even closer to me!), and they have more room, I will be going next year. That's where the fun is, anyway--- lots of dogs to meet and breeders/handlers to talk with.

But I will skip the BIS extravaganza at MSG, probably...it's just craziness.

That's awesome! I would just be happy to go & see a couple of the breed groups! That should count as attending, right? :)

I would love to go there to see all the breeds I would want to up close and personal. I was so blown away by the CC's, I seriously was considering getting one. Reality kicked in and I remembered Titan would not have it. :(

It IS awesome, Deb. Next year I will be sure to get there early, and watch some of the judging.

It's really a dog lover's dream to mix and mingle with these beautiful canines... :)

What if it's a female CC pup that you brought home for Titan to play with?

@NYDDB, I believe I was caught up in the CC fever while I watched them on Westminster. Reality kicked in and I really do not need another dog.

I'll be on the east coast for next year's Westminster, maybe I can make it next year. :)

Haha...I get the fever thing. :)

Let me know if you go next year, maybe we can meet up and drool over all the pretty dogs...

Not a hair cut Ruth...

Ok, seriously, get over yourself. Does the term "its a saying" mean anything to you? I know damn well that you don't trim him, its a PHRASE to describe his coat. Am I using it a bit derogetory? Yup, cause in case you missed it I DON'T CARE FOR THE LION COAT. But its not all about you, so get over it and STOP ATTACKING ME.

Sasha and Stevie are Litter mates. Both were in the top 5 "Invited list" for this show, which says something about this Litter produced by Kristina Sherling (and yes, they both get shown a lot which helps)
