Great pictures, other than the snakes (yikes, glad I don't live there)! Nothing better than fresh garden vegetables, farm fresh eggs and chickens! That is our dream to one day move out of the city and have our own chickens.

Welcome! Great pics! I'd love to see more of your new pup.

Everyone likes pictures and it backs up ones mouth, here's the new pup and recent pics.. New pup was purchased at 5 weeks and a couple days.. She was a mess, likely less then 3 pounds.. $400 and the woman had just wormed her and most likely flea bathed her too.. So I left with her pooping worms and additionally poisioned with exterior pesticide.. We worried our tail off with bloody diarrhea and diarrhea that continued for days.. Well She's on track now weighing in at 8 lbs at just over 8 weeks.. What a scare it was, nuff chit chat here's some recent pics..

Green acres is the place to be, farm living is the life for me.. Our pup says she never wants to see the city again... Especially in this day of age..

So damn cute! Keep those pics coming. You have a good eye and the scenery is to envy. Ah, but...well, my green acres day are far behind me...too much hard work for this old girl.

Oh boy. Five weeks. Okay. So you're no snowflake and I'll be honest with you. She left her mom way too early. Many pups that leave that early end up with issues because they didn't learn important things from mom and littermates. I know. My Ella was a foster fail at that same age. Covered in fleas, all four pads burned, and just a mess. I understand why you took her early. If you have access to any family or friends with rock solid, well adjusted adult dogs that you feel safe visiting with everything that's going on then take advantage of it. She would greatly benefit from being around well adjusted, friendly adult dogs.

If that's a recent picture, maybe have her checked for worms again. Her belly looks possibly wormy to me, but it could just be the angle. She's a cutey and I hope you post a lot of pictures as she grows.

Yup, she left to early But but but , No way I was leaving without her.. I have a very broad animal history so I feel quite confident she'll know who ALPHA in the pack is.. LOL and it's not her.. I would have loved to pick her up at 8 weeks, but it was a get while the getting was good or miss out..

Congratulations on the new pup! What a cutie. Beautiful pics of the farm and it looks like your new addition will be keeping busy and keeping guard! Have you named her? Looking forward to seeing pics as she grows. All the best!

LOL she's keeping busy alright, does her best to get into things.. I believe she knows her place among the free ranging chickens now.. The word No quite meaningful already.. She sure is good at making a mess with anything she gets her face on, bottles boots ropes it doesn't matter.. Water bottles are a crunchy favorite though.. She rather impressive in a game of fetch too.. Enough chit chat.. Is that all 4 feet off the ground ?

So it appears we're in a fraddy cat stage.. Life on the homestead has a slew of things going on.. She was recently hit by the electric fence that keeps the cows in.. The electric fence had her scootin and screaming all at the same time.. Amusing for me, her not so much.. She like her water.. 20200903_185314.jpg 20200903_185315.jpg
