Hello all. New dogo guy here.

Hello folks. I'm new to dogo, I come from Dobermans. The dogo we have is 3/4 dogo and 1/4 pit. Long story longer... I'm interested in testing to see if he is a game dog. Can anyone, in central Tx, help me out? We are in Austin, I'd like to get into running dogs and see if I like it. Thank you all in advance for your help.

Welcome. There is really only one way to see if the dog is "game" and that sport is illegal.

I'm sorry Michele, I used the wrong vernacular. I meant to say, if our dog has the drive, stamina and endurance to overcome obstacles, catch, hold and repeat, a hog. That's what I meant by "game". Maybe I've heard it used incorrectly, or maybe I just assumed and used it incorrectly. Either way, that's not what I meant. What I meant to ask was, if there were any hunters, that use dogos, here that would be willing to help a newby out. Thanks

Thanks for that clarification!
