When you say dark colored, what do you mean? Brindle? Red? Are you looking for a family pet or a show or working dog?

I have to ask how much research you have done on the breed. Bullmastiffs don't come in yellow, nor do they come in black. I think it's important to do research about the breed before you approach a responsible breeder. They're going to care that you've taken the time to learn about the breed and know the correct terminology used when discussing the dogs. They also won't be likely to just let you pick whichever puppy you want. Expect to be interviewed. Responsible breeders rarely make a profit on their pups. They aren't breeding for money or to supply the general population with pets. They're breeding for the betterment of the breed, with the goal being to combine two dogs that complement each other so that they can add the offspring to their breeding line. I'm not just talking show dogs. There are breeders that breed for other specific purposes as well.

If you'd like to post some links to breeders in your area that you have looked at, I'm sure many of us wouldn't mind taking a look at their websites and giving our opinions.

Fawn colored is what I meant when I said Yellow. Brindle is really what I meant when I said dark colored. I'm just struggling to use the proper terminology because it sounds kind of silly to me still; fawn, sire, dame, bitch etc. I still just like to say yellow, dad, mom, etc. hahaha! But yes I've been doing quite a bit of research.

I guess I don't consider 'red' to be very dark... but... you could contact any of the breeders in your area and ask if they know of any dark brindle pups. If they don't breed with brindles, they might know some who do.

Denna is a reverse brindle EM (more apricot color with a few black stripes). This is considered "undesirable" in the EM standard, from what I've read, the standard prefers brindle be mainly dark with a few light stripes. Her mom was a dark brindle and dad was fawn. Her litter was quite the mix. So even knowing the breeding parents, the pups will be a mixed bag.

Here's her pup pile - she's the red brindle on top.
