It's time to Present Crusher

This is the boy i decided to keep from Jade and odi's litter. Originally I focused on Ryder as he was a super dark brindle (Ultra Brindle) the one we thought was black at first. But his personality and temperament we not what I wanted. At first I almost thought Crusher would be a problem dog because he seemed fearful and would hide in the corner. I was so afraid he would have to be put down or end up in a bad situation. But I worked with him a couple of days and he just snapped out of it and became very confident and happy. His only flaw is his JarJar ears (you know JarJar Binks) but you can't go by looks you have to go by the dog in general.

In the corner hiding.

He's a sweety. I love the action with dad. He has a little scrappy-do in him. And, I think, with those paws, his name, "Crusher" may be appropriate. One swack with those mighty paws and you'd be down for the count.

I absolutely love the pic with Jade on the couch....such a momma's boy.

Are all the puppies gone now? I hope you have visiting rights. I want to see pics of them as they grow and become mature. Thank you for sharing, it made my day, every day that you posted.

That face is priceless! I had to laugh at KitKat, was it a name because of color? I have a cat named KitKat but it was an accidental name, I found her unable to walk anymore outside one winter, brought her in and got her healthy, I didn't plan on keeping her so I didn't name her just called her kitty cat, had to take her to the emergency vet one night for a tooth falling out from malnutrition they asked her name I said uh kitty cat, from then on it's been KitKat thanks to the vet tech that wrote it

KitKat was first born and came out with a roar, she was very orange like fire and I called her Katniss (Girl on Fire). Well that ended up becoming Kat or KitKat. The new owner has named her Chazaq (or Zaky) it is Hebrew for Strength and power or something close to that. The kat name really fit her though as she has that Lioness look about her.

I have a couple before he went to his forever home and maybe a couple after.
When i look at the photos I always think, "Oh man did I screw up?" But then I compare the personalities and know I chose the right dog for me.

Totally love the pic of the pups on the stairs, it's a winner.

Mike, they were all precious. Ryder certainly was a one-of-a-kind dog, and many of us would have given our eye teeth to bring him home.... Ah, well, he appears to have landed in a good home, with a human child to share his puppyhood. Kids and dogs...It's a natural.

Has Jade shown any distress at her puppies leaving?

I know my dog's mother, welcomed her back at first and later attacked her, I suppose, somehow, she was defending her two remaining pups. Poor Bailey, her little heart was broken, she just wanted to run and play with her siblings, but mom was not allowing it.

Jade seems to be relieved as the puppies go. I have seen a little bit of looking around but she seems to be fine. odi had some issues when Skywalker and Arby left but recoverd in a day or 2.

Love all of the pictures! How on earth did you get all the puppies to sit and stay for the stair for photo? That's darn miraculous. :)

Stunning, and they look so much better with tails intact. I wish Pax still had his tail. What a handsome face that big boy has.

Those tails will become weapons, be a lot of bruised thighs from a happy dog lol

The tails have already become an issue the last couple of days as they are clearing off tables and knocking over other stuff. We need tail training.

Crusher is growing like mad right now.
It's hard to keep up with him.
He is up around 70 lbs already

Loki (Lucky) came over for puppy sitting the other day too.
