I wanted to say hello to all and introduce myself and my buddy, this is my first time posting as a fila owner. My name is Amanda and I live in Texas. I found this forum when searching for a fila puppy, it was a wealth of knowledge for me. I am finally a fila owner, his name is Tubarao and he is almost 5 months old. I have attached a couple pics of him please excuse the bad cell pics, he is 3 months old in the photos. Greatest dog ever, I waited awhile for him to come along. I am already itching for another ;) 20130731_150012.jpg20130731_145945.jpg

I have 6 acres of property and children, protection was my number one motivation but that mode of protection had to be compatible with my children. His grandmother is Juans' maddie his father is Bantu :)

Hi Fila owners! I need a little help here. I always interested in getting a TM or a CO. But my climate don't suit these two breeds as it is very hot and humid most of the year. My interest is deviating towards Flia. Please advice me whether i can own this breed over here in India. Thanks in advance.

The answer is yes.. I have seen Filas in every climate and they do just fine... to the icy world of Alaska to the deserts in Las Vegas, India would not be an issue. There may be breeders in India but you will def. want to check out the temperament of the dogs they have before you make that decision.
