Yes, she definitely looks Dogoish to me! Straight front teeth. Pigment on the lips. Square muzzle. Dogo tail. How big was she?

Kahuna;181627 Handsome boy! Is this the same boy in these two shots? Unfortunately Tango is getting quite s few pigment spots on his face now which makes him look (marginally) less cute. That boy in the first pic looks spotless! [/QUOTE said:
thank you! the top is Ike he is 11mos now and 7 months in the pic.he is spotless, I keep checking him for a spot, lol!! the 2nd is my 1st Dogo Paco when he was 10mos. he had a few speckles(as we call them)as he aged. I lost him in 2006.

My guess was about 45 lbs. Still under a year but had all of her adult teeth. I look like I'm strangling her but in order to take a pic I had to kind of hold her down lol she would jump up & lick me on the face. Such a sweet, sweet baby. I took her up to the shelter & her owner claimed her. I would've kept her but I was about to not be home for 6 weeks so I couldn't push a 3rd dog on my parents while I was gone.

Forgot to add that I just hope her people are taking care of her. She acted like she was deprived of attention. I played fetch with her for a while, left her in the back yard for maybe 5 minutes & she chewed a hole in my gate lol

Haha yeah I was surprised of how explosive he was from a stand still..if im not mistaken he was around 93lbs just under 10 months on that and im 6'4

She looks sweet! 45lb seems very small for a 1yr Dogo. Maybe someone with more expertise can chime in.
45lbs is small, but could be off a little. I had a female that was only 75lbs at 2yrs old. she was just a little thing, all other females in her litter were in the 80-83lb range. could be possible.

Fila, this girl was probably between 6-8 months. 45 lbs was just a guess but she was stocky. I originally thought pit mix bc of her short stature but the more I looked at her & my friend even said, maybe she's part Dogo?

at that age,45lbs is very possible for a female.

I say if she shows up in my yard again, I'm not giving her back. I can forgive a one time, maybe she dug out of the yard but you know when you interact with a dog & you just tell they don't get enough attention? She screamed that. I wanted so bad to just let her in the house but not knowing her history or if she was dog aggressive, I couldn't. When I leashed her to walk her through the house to the car, she couldn't care less about the other dogs. Like I need a 3rd dog but if it means keeping this girl out of the busy street that my house backs up to, that I often call cat/dog death row, I'll keep her or even foster her until I find her a more suitable home.

Now I want a Dogo...... :( When Mayzee is 2-5 years old, we're going to get another pup. It was going to be a Corso, but now I'm not so sure... I like to do a few years of research, so I better get started! My husband really likes Dogos.....

Ensure you look into all the pros and cons of this breed, hell any guarding breed! I love Dogo's and when we are ready for a new pet this one tops the hubby's list but he knows the pros and cons and knows what it takes to own one, otherwise the dog becomes mine ;). I got to see a beautiful male at a show here about 5 years or so ago. He was stunning, and would have taken him in a heart beat. He wasn't being shown just there to watch while the female was shown who I was not a fan of, but the male apparently went back and forth hunting in the US.
