Zymox is amazing

I wish I had taken before pics of the girls ears because you would not believe the difference. We still have a little bit to go but it has worked like magic compared to everything else we've tried. Amazing.

I can believe it without seeing. Then again I just recently discovered the miracle that is zymox.

I agree! Although the Zymox with Hydrocortisone is far superior than the one without. I went through a huge bottle of the one without, wondering what everyone was raving about with Zymox, until I tried the one with- big difference.

Mateo has had one ear that has been difficult, for whatever reason, and nothing really worked as well as the Zymox with hydro....It's now clean, yay!

Isn't it great?! I also use Zymox ezymatic shampoo for skin fold irritation and it works well too.

Have never heard of this. Any thoughts of whether this stuff might help our terrier cross's itch? Nothing else has done Jack for the poor wee dude.

Zymox makes a shampoo too. I'm going to get some to try. Someone posted that it was helping with their dog's skin issues. Ella gets nasty, weepy sore areas under her front legs and on her belly. Most likely an allergic reaction. They're always trying to put her on antibiotics and I'm not doing that. In the past I've used Happy Jack shampoo with decent results - there's one for itchies that I haven't tried. Based on how well the Zymox ear gel works for us, I'm kind of dorkily excited to try the shampoo.

How many times per day do you use it? I've been applying 1x a day per the instructions for about a week with Lillie and not seeing much improvement. Should I try 2x a day for a while?

Wow. A week? I normally see improvement within 2-3 days of 1/day treatment... as in, no more constant scratching, and Denna actually comes to me to get the squirt in her ear! Not that she likes it, but I think she does actually realize her ear feels better later... either that, or it's the dried liver in my hands as I'm squirting stuff in her ear. HA!

Do you have the gel or the wash? The gel with hydrocortisone is the miracle stuff.
Also.. do NOT wash the ear when on this treatment... crazy instructions!! :)

It was just a few days. I have the gel with hydrocortisone so that might be the difference. I didn't get the wash because they tend to shake and I didn't want them to shake it right out.
