Dear Penelope,

Tomorrow, you will be 8 months old. You've been with me for the last five months and honestly, with all the crap you get into, I'm surprised you've lived this long.

However, you have turned into a more confident, friendly girl (with people, anyway) and you give the best hugs of any dog I've ever had.

If you don't kill yourself, I know we will continue to learn and grow together and I love you, no matter how much of my stuff you chew up.

Adolescence...Ahhh! The teen age years! So glad we are close to being past that at 14 months old. We have had a bit of a relapse this week into using me as a punching bag and jumping on our new sectional BUT all I have to do is look and see what mayhem Miss P is in to and I thank my lucky stars!!!!:)
