I tried adding yogurt to Bella's breakfast (greek plain) after I had got her switched successfully to the dry dog food she is currently on...results: extreme cannonbutt!!!! OMG it was 2 am and dark outside and even though I couldn't see her in the yard, the sounds were unmistakable (and verified by sight the next morning!! So, I just thought too soon, and put it aside. Then about 3 weeks ago I started adding a fish oil capsule to her breakfast, all good. After two weeks of that going well, I tried adding the yogurt back in at her lunchtime. Results: TOTAL CANNONBUTT again!!!! Is it possible she is still too young to digest it, or possible she might have issues with "dairy" products?

Could be, some dogs are more sensitive than others.

MY Julius loves the greek plain nonfat yogurt frozen inside and alittle on the outside of his kong's... I will mix in some regular kibble as "sprinkles". He will lick and mess with it for hours, lol.

I do the fish oil capsules as well I get them when they are on sale at costco and I find they are easy to administer compared to straight oil.

I use the fish oil capsules for the omega 3's...and, even though I know a lot of other people on here do too, it was actually my vet who recommended it to me
