He does alert rather than retrieve, which is fine, but I am planning on working on his retrieve eventually. The trainer did give an explanation of that but it didn't make the segment. He alerts because the other scent sports he does like barn hunt and nose work use an alert...How cool! It looks like Yogi was more interested in alerting to the shed rather than retrieving it...? But you could see his drive; he must enjoy it.By the way, I love his deep red coat color- gorgeous.
