Hi if you all remember when I join Thor was having cow patties issues and Xena was very impolite when meeting people ( adopted her at 8 month from a couple who lived in the woods). I have built a very strong bond with Xena and her training is unbelievable, she only wants to please it has been a major turn around I was very skeptic about her but with all your advice and tips I cannot imagine not having her with me. Ok we still have bad days but that every dog. I can let children come to her and approach her if they are both calm, we have a camper where we go every weekend and when we walk the other dogs just bark at her, her reaction is look I give a small nudge on chocker and command to let's go and she keeps walking no barking or nothing. I am so very happy with this. When we do meet a dog she still tries to go for them so I give a small nudge on chocker again and start to jog and she forget them completely. It is so fun having her. Thank you for your encouragement and tips.
Thor has started his bratty stage and guarding so we are having lots of fun he is such a sweetheart. I love him very much but Xena has stolen my heart but that ok he has stolen my husband heart. He has good listening skills when he is not being stubborn! Any ways just wanted to give you guys an update and tell you all Thank You for your advice and welcoming us here. I have learned so much and I am addicted to this forum
