Why does my dog shake

How about posting a clear picture of the paw he is licking? Also maybe even a longer 5-10 minute video of just "normal" activity before and during the occurrence of the problem. (Let us see the dog and the environment he is in.) It may help others better judge what is causing the issue. (Don't do anything different while recording, if you tell him to stop licking normally, let us see that in the video.)

Dogs can take *some* human medicines, just be careful and search what you are using before you use anything. Peptobismol(spelling?) and Benadryl can be used with dogs. Medicine dosage is given by weight, so take that into consideration. And do not use these medications long-term.

You don't think it is from you telling him off because he doesn't listen? ... if you YELL in an enraged way at an unruly child they will either scoff/laugh-it-off and ignore you, or they will become very reserved/timid/afraid and still may not necessarily listen (or they will listen) - it depends on their personality and what they have been through in their lives.
A child does not have to speak at all to SCREAM to others, that they are being Abused. (I'm not saying you are abusing your dog, but I am saying that what you believe may or may not be the issue, it could not be related at all, or could be the sole factor causing the problem... you are in this situation for a reason right?)

IF no Health issues are present, then it is a psychological problem. Then you have to being to figure out WHY he is doing that and WHAT is causing it. Shaking and Paw Licking are only SYMPTOMS of the actual problem.

My mastiff has a tremble in his front feet....only sometimes and only in a certain position....it seems to be just part of him, as he is not treated without love.
