Which Earthborn for new puppy?

Hello lab

Looking for some guidance here...I'm picking up my OEM June 1st, so I'd like to make a decision on her food, which it seems I am incapable of:)
After much research(pouring through this forum) I've pretty much decided to just go with one of the Earthborn(OK I figured if Smart uses it, it much be a good/safe choice). So which one? I think Primitive Natural is out, I think due to the high protein content correct?
This leaves Great Plains, Meadow, or Coastal.
Which is the best for a puppy? I see calcium is good for all three, and the protein is 34%(GP), 26%(Meadow) and 32(Coast)%. Is this what I should be basing a choice on? Is there an optimum level?
Lastly, once I make a choice, should I keep her on it for life(assuming she does well on it), or is one of other choices better after she's 2yrs?

Thanks very much in advance/Kevin

I chose the Great Plains for my puppy I will get at the same time. I used to feed Primitive Naturals to my previous dog and she did excellent on it. I ordered mine from doggiefood.com and I got a great price and if you get two of the same bag they give 2$ off per bag and free shipping...I'd check that out. Good luck.

All three are fine. Pick one, fully transition onto it, go through two or three big bags and then you can rotate through the three. You can keep them on it for life, which is what is great about an all life stages food. After 2 you could try the primative natural but it does have chicken which many mastiffs have issues with so I prefer to use chicken free and grain free foods.

Thanks smartfam.
One question- what's the logic behind rotating Through all three types? Just to find a preference or????

Just to give them variety. You don't have to if you don't want to but one of the nice things about there being three appropriate formulas is that you can change them up if you want to since they all have a different protein source: bison, lamb and fish.

Thanks very much. I just ordered some Coastal and Meadow from doggiefood- they had a 10% off deal for new customers. Ended up at $39/28# bag delivered, which is not too bad.
Gee, I never thought I'd be saying $39/bag dog food is "not too bad"!

Haha well I'm jealous. I just picked up a bag for 50 bucks and the store I went to had almost none left thanks to people switching after the recall.

Good haha. I'm not alone in my misfortune then :p I actually grabbed a bag of Ocean Fusion, which is the grain inclusive fish by accident, got to the car and went to put it in the trunk before I realized it. I'm so out of it today!
