  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

When to neuter BM.

Neutered at 10 weeks is absurd! Please tell the rescue to stop neutering dogs @ 10 weeks. He's only 7 months old, he will grow into those long and gangly thin legs. Mastiffs continue to grown until 2-3 years old. He may be smaller due to the early neutering.

Absolutely disgusting isn't it. I told someone on another forum and they emailed the rescue (the RSPCA in fact) and never heard back from them. I know their shelters are individually run and have different rules so I will post this on their Facebook group for questioning. I wish I knew about the risks before and requested not to have him done :(

It makes me angry thinking about how they could have potentially let my pup have an increased risk of cancers, dysplasia and growth problems. I have read that pre-pubesant neuters stay long and gangly and never really widen! We shall see how he grows, touch wood no problems :)
