Since on their front page they claim chocolates can be bred the same as a Dane, I will pick apart their Danes.

"Tex" - no body pictures, but the face is too narrow. My Dane mentor told me a Dane skull should look like a "brick on a brick".

The muzzle shouldn't get more narrow down at the nose. You can also see in comparison his jowls are incorrect as well.

"Harley" looks more like a Bloodhound than a Great Dane. Wrinkles are ONLY permitted on the forehead in expression. His lips hang down too far in the front. Lips should be just below the nose in an upside down "u" shape. This is not it.

I will stop there. The fact is her "stock" is horrendous and not a representative of the breed in any fashion. The ear sets alone make me cringe!

She claims we should treat chocolates as "equal" yet look at her prices page. Her "chocolates" she advertises for $500+ more than her other colors! She also doesn't pick pets/show dogs according to what are the standard, just on what they've paid.

For people like that they take our genuine reason then twist it around as a money making scheme.

does this rule also apply the import danes(european for example) lol n also i didnt want to u stop the out look of these danes i would like u to tell me more n if there is any of those dane that at least come close to what they should look like ? if u want u can add me n tell me one on one lol
but if they r liers than i was fool but there r many people that r in my same shoes n i was lose in the info they put out there so i would love to learn more

From which Kennel, do you get him cropped?

He's from a breeder in Hungary that I had been spoke with about another breeder. The breeder I originally picked didn't quite work out ( still don't know what happened) However the breeder I got my new pup from had just breed her girl to a male I was interested in. Worked in my favor, kind of hard to tell what we'll be like when he gets older but he looks quite nice so far.

Edit to add, no I opted not to get him cropped.

Cool, IMO GMs should have natural ears.
Could you post the Kennel Website or send me a PM with it?
Would be nice!:)

There are some that I like with cropped ears but for the most part I agree with you I like the "natural" on them. Especially the ears on this pup, LOL. I swear he could fly with them.

My favorite is brindle, but my current fawn is pretty special too. I've had really bad luck with black danes, one behaviorally and one health wise, so I'll probably never get another.finn.jpgPictures 11.2.09 003.jpgpicture people dexter.jpg
