The last time I took my 15 week old English Mastiff, Blue, to the vet 4 weeks ago he weighed 32 lbs and the vet told me to go ahead and switch him to adult food, so I did. Now that I've done a lot of reading I'm starting to worry that he should not have been switched yet and isn't getting all the nutrients he needs!! Should I switch him back to puppy food????? Much appreciation to anyone with any advice!

Another raw food fan. Pork shoulders are $1.69 (sometimes less) at my regular old Stop & Shop. I hand it to the butcher & have him slice it into 1" steaks. Let me know if you find a quality food for that price per serving.

The first I heard of raw was form a woman who had a raw-fed yorkie. This little guy chowed on chicken wings & organ meat. Bone and all! This is what they were meant to eat!

My Bella gets between 1 & 2 lbs per day depending on how active we are. We have never had to have her glands expressed or her teeth cleaned: ever. My vet was skeptical but now agrees: raw rocks !
