What Tully the TM learnt in 2013…
Happy New Year!
Now that Tully is a ripe old almost 5 month old we decided to reflect a little on what she (or we) have learnt…
Tully has learnt that she no longer fits through the cat flap – although she hasn’t given up on the idea as evidenced by the construction work she has been quietly undertaking to remove the timber around the cat flap when no one is around.
On that note, I suspect that we won’t be needing to clip her nails any time soon as she has none!
Tully has learnt that tomatoes from the vege patch make wonderful chew toys as long as you are quick – particularly if you intend on throwing them around the lounge room floor. Cucumbers are fairly decent for tug of war with the big boys as well.
Tully has learnt that every door in our home is automated. Soft, regular taps if you are not in a hurry, and just bash into it with both front feet over and over again if you’d like to get in a little quicker.
Tully has learnt that there is no need to wake up if she is concerned at night. She has mastered growling and barking in her sleep without the need to stand or even open her eyes.
Tully has learnt that if she continually annoys the big boys and doesn’t listen to their suggestions that she stop biting their tails, ears, legs, lips etc. then she will end up at the vets and her modelling days will be over and she’ll look like a junk yard dog!
Tully has learnt that car trips without mum are much more fun as you lay on top of the kids instead of being buckled into your harness in the back.
Tully has learnt that life is never boring as long as you have a cardboard box or newspaper handy. Hours of entertainment…
We have learnt that we would never be without a Tibetan Mastiff and we may never have a tidy home again...and they grow up far too quickly
