What did Santa bring you?

I'll start, Santa brought me new pants and socks (standard fare for all blokes i think) lots of beer and biscuits, and Santa knows I dont have a sweet tooth so he got me plenty of olives and Marmite and a big bottle of Kraken rum. oh and on boxing day he arranged a date for me with a lovely woman called Caroline. i hope he brought you all something special.

First off, I got the most thoughtful gift ever from my mom and stepdad. My mom had a blanket made for me with a bunch of pictures of my dogs on it (and one photo of Phyllis the Polish chicken)

Isn't it beautiful?!!!??!??!

Fitbit flex
Running shoes
Money
Cards Against Humanity expansion packs
Meat grinder
Fancy blender for making smoothies
Gift cards
South Park seasons 1-10
... And some gifts are still in the mail, so I'm not sure what else I've gotten yet!

... Boxing Day I bought the dogs 2 fit bark activity trackers and a TV for my bedroom with the money I got.

We are pretty low-key at Christmas. I got perfume, new bands for my fitbit and a bunch of movies that I've been wanting. Mostly spent a nice day with my hubby watching Jake try to de-stuff his new toys and kill the squeaky parts of them and watching movies.

We have a pretty low key holiday also. I got most of my gifts well in advance and just got to open them again.
,br>Good luck on your date with Caroline, CJ.

I hope the date goes well CJ!
We are very low key here also. I have the only kid that, when asked what he wants for Christmas, replies "nothing, I like all my toys" lol so much more fun for me though. In casual passing at a commercial he noted how cool a light saber looked. Guess what Santa brought? He did not even check under the tree for more gifts:)

He brought us torrential rain and severe, widespread flash flooding. But I got to spend the day with my dogs and my human family, which is the important thing!

The most important ones: 3 beds for the dogs (jack wanted to kill his bed first. ..) and a remote control helicopter for the child.

We don't have any kids in the group anymore, so we've stopped doing gift exchanges in my family... plus, we pretty much buy stuff we want when we see it, so everyday is Christmas! (sort of).
We even did the big Family meal on Christmas Eve this year - Mom wanted a day eating leftovers before people started heading home on Saturday - so Christmas Day was spent sitting around eating leftovers and watching basketball...

We didn't even get a good walk in with Denna, since she still has stitches in her foot (if you missed it, she stepped on a beer bottle on 12/16). She could care less, but I don't want to cause any issues with the threads before they come out... She spent the day on her rug chewing on her new plushy toy - which is still in one piece! ("fluff & tuff" brand, so far is holding up to the hype!)
