  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

We rescued a Neo!

Hey Guys! My wife and I adopted a blue Mastini today at our shelter. The shelter said he's two years old but I think he's older. We'll see when I take him to the vet for his check up. any rate, he's a good boy and very laid back (much like our little Archie that past). Miel will be very happy! We pick him up this wed (needs to get neutered). We can't wait! Poor little boy is emaciated and is pretty much skin and bones; only 103 lbs. I'll send you guys pics as soon as I can!:)

Hey Guys! So here it is. Cannoli actually went home to one of the keepers at the shelter. Cannoli is the only dog and is the alpha now, which he deserves. Cannoli and Miel didn't get along unfortunately. It could have still worked out but it would be quite a process. I thought it would be better for Cannoli to bypass the behavior specialist too. When I introduced them (neutral spot) they were fine. However, my wife and I babied him the first night (shouldn't have done that) which moved him up the "doggy totem pole" and soon we had an alpha male Neo and an alpha/confused Miel. The keeper at the shelter loves the hell out of him and actually wanted him before I adopted him (I got him before him), which I didn't know. Also, the keeper live very close to me and I can visit Cannoli anytime.

Oh, just want to say that everything you read about Neapolitans is true! They're great dogs. We only had him a day and he loved us like we had him since he was a pup. He was also one hell of a gaurd too. Super alert and didn't leave our sight when we walked him around our property (3/4 acre). When people came close he would run and slam the fence like a panther (no barking). He scarred the hell out of all he local trash; it was great! They are great dogs!
