  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

We have created a monster :)

I agree with this resolution! Our pups only come into bed when invited but we Kahlua gets invited every night and Diesel gets invited most nights (occasionally he prefers his own bed). I like having them in the bed but I think we will be upgrading our bed size asap.

We have already very big bed, in fact i dont know if they make any bigger beds except that is some kind of custom made, and sometimes is already crowded :)

We've thought about putting some sort of cot/child-size bed at the foot of ours to make room, but I don't know that that would be enough for your purebred giants.

Hamlet's just a little dog by comparison:

I've seen people do that. Ruger & Magnum's mom (rugers-kris) went so far as to get another kingsize bed identical to their first one and put them side by side so her boys had enough room on the bed. :)

Yesterday after our church service and shopping, I felt exhausted when I got home and I flopped on our bed. "Mr. Chev" jumped up twice...we have never allowed the dogs on the bed or couch. So I just made him get down, which was a half-asleep struggle...lots to move, huh? Have a great day.

Last year, we added a new addition to our pack - then 5 month old Prudence. For the few months, she was crated at night and then we worked our way to sleeping out of the crate, but on a dog bed. Now she is allowed in the bed. But with me, three dogs and a queen size bed, it requires careful arrangements. So I invite the pups onto the bed in a specific order. Puppy has a tendency to let new privileges go to her head so we're still working on getting off of the bed (and couch) when I say so.

The first day we picked up moose we fully had the intentions to keep him off our bed and on his own. However he was restless the whole night, crying and breathing weird so I let him snuggle and it has never stopped being our nightly routine. I also don't regret it, lol. As he's gotten older he's chosen to sleep elsewhere (partially) we have a double futon mattress at the end of our bed on the ground with copious amounts of pillows and blankets (seriously, he has so many) and that's what he likes to use as his dog bed. He comes on ours to wake me up in the mornings still, and when one of us is away from home he always sleeps on the bed.
